Catching up

Realised that I had not been blogging for quite a while cos had been pretty busy at work so now i guess its the time to play catch up and update on my blog again... Nothing much had happened, yesterday went out with my sis and her bf, went and had lunch at taka and then went shopping around and I really realise that I really don't like going out to Orchard on a weekend! Its just so packed till that I felt I hardly had any breathing space, duh!

Last thurs attended a friend wedding, well it was a nice event and it was nice catching up with all my primary school friends again, and how time flies, we had all known each other for 20 years already!! Anyway yesterday was to go to sis Cecilia's shop to do my nails and went and did extension, so happy with my new nails haha... check it out!!

Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to me! *yeah throw confetti!!*... and also... i'm a year older right now = = this year birthday is a rather different one for me, it was more of a quieter affair for me compared to last year but i enjoyed this year birthday alot more! Had lunch at Beppu with the other 5 princesses then went home to spend time with my family before heading out again to meet Cecilia sis and him for my birthday dinner at a japanese restuarant in Clarke Quay, the atmosphere is not bad and the food looks tempting but then i think i'm too hungry that i can't fill in much food into my stomach, duh!

We head down to Lunar after that, just me and Cecilia sis going to support him though after that my sis and her bf plus 2 of their other friends and another friend of mine came to join us, had drinks but i didn't drink much cos restricted by Cecilia sis and him, we left after 2 sets of his performance, think was 2 plus already, all of us are tired le... *yawnz* But this year... birthday was filled with many warm wishes, wishes on stage and wishes from overseas, am just feeling so loved!! I love this feeling...

A day in Batu Pahat

Well.. yesterday was on a day tour to Batu Pahat with daddy, actually it was supposed to be that mommy and daddy go together but then too bad, mommy problematic leg acted up again so she decided that I shall go on her behalf since already paid 50 bucks for it!!! Well the tour is not bad, the aunties and uncles are quite fun to be with and i guess i hit it off with them pretty well, haha ^^

Went to a lot of temples, bird nest factory and eat ALOT!! But the one thing that I never get myself used to is the frequenting of toilets, dun mean to be bad here but i really cannot convince myself to use their public toilets and my daddy tried all sorts of reasoning he can used on me to convince his daughter me to use the toilet rather than having a full bladder all the way back to singapore but i still cannot stepped into it! And so my lucky star came when we reach the bird nest factory and the toilet is heaven to me, haha.... i think my daddy went 'phew' haha... I guess everyone was pretty worried abt the jam which is pretty well known for the fact so we set off from JB to Singapore around 5 and vola!! I reached home around 7pm, that's fast right? Well kudos to our driver, he drove and cut so many cars that I'm totally impressed!!

Well.. as per the heading caption above, do you guys think I'm referring to the korean drama? ^^ well though its the same title but then am referring to this korean restaurant somewhere in Tanjong Pagar! Well actually its my 2nd time there and this time was with the other 5 sisters and i do recommend this restaurant cos its ambience is cosy, the food is nice but the price well... its abit high-end cos the 6 of us contributed to a whopping $300 over when the bill came though its still after a 20% discount >.<>

Last week was out with bestie dear and now i just simply love to go out with her more haha cos we always bump into fireworks session and couting my fingers so far, it had come to 3 times so far, firstly was the National Day Brazillian fireworks festival, second was the CNY preview at Raffles Place and thirdly, its at the opening of the Singapore Flyers!!! Yay!!! After watching the fireworks, we went to Stamford House to hunt down the bag shop which we did managed to find but the price is freaking expensive!!! But we just simply love the smell and the layout of Stamford House, its just so cosy....

Today didn't do much, was out nearly the whole day with mummy and daddy and sis doing shopping for household stuffs then had lunch, came home and then rest for awhile and its time to hit the swimming pool with sis's bf, was fun but now am just so tired BUT tonight got Liverpool match at 10pm!! Yay!!!! Which reminds me that today was wearing my Liverpool jersery with sis and just too bad that daddy didn't wear his Man United jersery today haha....

Patch Adams.. It's my ultimate favourite movie of all time ever since I watched it.. a movie that touched me so much, made me laughed and made me cry everytime I watched it and the soundtrack is brilliant too! Watched it again today and it just in a way inspires me someway somehow.. Patch Adams is actually based on a true story, he is a doctor who doesn't look, act or think like any doctor you and I have ever met before, for Patch, humor is the best medicine and he's willing to do just about anything to make his patients laugh - even if it means risking his own career... And of cos, Robin Williams is my favourite actor too beside Johnny Depp *blush* And up to today Gesundheit Institue set up by Dr Patch Adams is still running with the ever famous clown healing method!

Yesterday was out with whole day with my bestie... so fun!! Went to Raffles City, Central mall and then Sentosa!! Sentosa was more impromtu actually.. We went and had dinner at Cafe del Mar cos I wanted to go there previously but then no chance till yesterday... the ambience was great, food was great and a perfect place to chill out actually if its not in Sentosa, haha.... and how great it was to end the night with fireworks!! Totally brilliant!!

Denise birthday

Last night was out in Mono celebrating Denise birthday... wow it had been so long since i last stepped into st. james, think its coming to 1 year! Mono is not bad, the room is just nice for us but its cold... brrr..... but nevertheless it was great fun and my 1st time out with the other 6 princesses and around 1.30am we decided to go down to dragonfly to party.... it was just so packed!!! i had so much trouble squeezing past so many people just to get to the table which is like 10 steps away!! But the music was good, atmosphere was great, all of them are so high and some drunk i think and i am the only sober one there haha cos i didn't drink at all!! I can't afford to take risk considering the fact that I am going on holidays tomorrow!! Anyway... was at draongfly till 3am and decided to leave cos a colleague's bf came to pick her up and decided to send me home also... Before i left, got hugs from Brina, Jeanne and Denise and she even gave me a kiss on my cheeks and told me something, well i can promise that i'll try my best to do that okie, Denise?? *winkz* Happy birthday!!!!!!!

A visit to the dentist

Finally after so long i went for my dentist checkup yesterday after much procastination and my daddy went ahead to book the appointment for the both of us cos i guess he knows that if its just myself, i won't even go!! Well... why i hate dental visit so much is cos i hate to lie down with the light shining into my face and to hear and have the equipments poking, scraping and going in and out of my mouth!! But then i guess that is also the only time when you can drool like nobody business haha!! But i had get it over and done with!! yay!!

At night went out for dinner with him, well when 2 sick cats meet up with each other, its like coughing like nobody's business, well it isn't that bad anyway la.. dinner was fine and the food was good too but... its no good when you are sick and have craving for ice cream =( he said no cos i'm coughing and ordered bird nest for me but i didn't know that its almond birdnest!!! Well after much pushing here and there, we decided on half half and well he was encouraging enough to encourage me to finish the almond birdnest >.<

Today sis cecilia came to pick me up from her shop cos we were suppose to go for dinner with him at En Restuarant, and as usual he is the last one, so me and sis went ahead to order our food since he said so, by the time he reached, I was pretty full =p hahaha... Alot of catching up was done during the dinner and after that we decided to go to Lunar since I had never been there before ever since he started singing there so last night decided to go and support him and also cos if i want to go Lunar, i need my visa to be approved by sis cos i can only go when sis goes =) the place is nice, very oriental and RED on the 2nd floor but super cosy, sis love their red sofa, me too actually and even those waitress are having red wigs on!! I'm totally impressed, he sat around us to talk till around 11pm before he need to go and get ready to sing so me and sis continued with our drinking (well i drink green tea, so weird!! can't expect me to drink since i can't drink mah right??) and deciding when to celebrate sis birthday...

His performance is good, i can say he is the only one who can SING, well me and sis agree that we dunno what the girls are singing, but the pyro effects of fire and smoke effect is entertaining enough. Well half way enjoying the show, got 1 guy came up to our table and stared into me, totally freak me out and i just turned my head the other way and looked at the tv in front of me, sis also said dun turn around, that guy is drunk i believe but that guy's action is enough to freak me out!! I wonder how come the bouncers over there can't control that guy! Anyway we left after the 1st set, went downstairs to look for him but then can't find him so me and sis decided to leave, he text me to ask if we had left while sis was sending me home and i told him we did and i told him i enjoyed his performance.

Well not sure when is the next time i will be there to support him again (need to have my visa approved by sis before i can go =) haha) but then i think Lunar is quite a nice place... Oh and not forgetting to thank him for having the espn sports channel changed so that i can watch my Liverpool match where we thrash Newcastle by 3-0!! yay!!!! And also a big THANK YOU to sis for everything last night and sending me home, i really had a great saturday!!

Emo day

Airshow 2008

Today went to watch the Airshow 2008... it's my first Airshow and i really enjoyed it very much except the Q we had to go though to get onto the shuttle bus to and from the airshow and the sun cos it burnt me really badly!! =( now applying aloe vera on the skin, i just wish the burnt will subside soon... but overall the show was really great, seeing all those planes doing those stunts and to see A380 which is really huge!!! But i only took a pic of the A380 haha cos was busy watching the planes... am still wondering how come i am the only one got sunburnt when bro and friends didn't suffer the same fate as i do... duh!! >.<

The other day was having lunch at Beppu with my colleagues, its an interesting restuarant with many interesting japanese demons figurines and the tiles are maps of Beppu island haha... actually its not my 1st time there le but cos of al the times we were there, we were seated outside, so the other day was my 1st time seated inside the restuarant and i was pretty impressed with the interior.. haha... oh and on the way to China Dquare and i saw 3 mini coopers running on the road, was so high seeing those mini coopers hahah!!

Cars

Well well as my caption had mentioned, this post of mine is going to just on cars =p today had lunch at boat quay with my colleagues and while walking towards to the coffee shop, saw a very stylo car parking by the roadside, and i mean its really sleek when people who walked passed it literally either stop to look at it or walk but turn the heads back to see the car... when i walked past it and look inside, i was like 'wah..... so stylo'..... then i realise its a mini cooper s... oh... one of my fave car!!!! After lunch when i walked back, decided to take a photo of the car, well can't squeeze in front of the car so took a side view, the exterior may not look fantastic i guess but then interior is 'woo hoo...' haha... after taking the photo i realise there's another guy who is taking photo of the car too with a digital camera!!!! haha... i wish for a car like that!! work hard for it!!!!

The next car i sat is a new red Mitsubishi Lancer Ex which is on the road for the first day today, haha... courtesy of him who insisted to come and pick me up from work and send me home though we got lost somewhere somehow but managed to return home, well kudos to you!

Yes yes yes!!! Its the Chinese Lunar New Year again!! This year the new year started for me with a BANG!! haha.... I enjoyed my new year alot this year =) But also felt that the new year just passed by so fast!!! I did enjoyed myself but felt that it could be better =p but I shall not complain much either cos its pure bliss for me anyway...

Of cos did nothing much but indulge myself with the food, yes and its really a whole lot of FOOD!! From the 肉干to the steamboat to the pineapple tarts, my mouth never seem to stop chewing -.- guess its time to hit the gym again to lose some weight I believe though my bestie Stella felt that there's nothing much for me to lose! Duh!! But of cos the most important tradition of the new year is the distribution of ang pows!!! wow!!! haha... this year got quite some ang pow thoughs its quite pai sei when relatives asked so many questions, but nevertheless, my answer is very standard!! yay!! But I guess as I get older, its more of the food and the gathering and catching up with relatives that we hardly meet which counts more than collecting the ang pows =)

Another 'tradition' for the new year is 'gambling' right?? from mahjong to ban luck, they are being played in all the houses that I went to and even my own house never escape that fate, but hey its a once a year thingy so.... who cares... hahaha.... as long as everyone enjoys it is more important I feel!! And lastly hope everyone will 發啦 in this year of the Rat!!

Reunion Dinner

well well well its the time of the year again for reunion dinner again but then well its rather different this year cos we had it earlier as my bro is leaving for Bangkok tomorrow and will only return on the12th, so mommy decided that we have the reunion dinner earlier!! the steamboat is really yummy... tom yum soup base and normal soup base!! drooling!!! *but i forgot to take a photo of the steamboat!! >.<* but anyway... before the dinner we had our lou hei, haha... took some photos of it too!! My wishes for the lou hei is make more money, be more healthier, my job will be smooth sailing and good luck all year round! hope it will really come true for me!! yay!!

Anyway this afternoon met up with his mommy, had lunch together and chatted, it was nice catching up with her again and so happy to receive the pineapple tarts from her too cos i always like her pineapple tarts!!! And of cos i can't go empty handed also so I bought some goodies for auntie to bring back home too =) And also hope that auntie can get over her flu soon!! After that went to NTUC to help my mommy to get some food stuffs, can't imgaine that the whole NTUC is so packed, oh well i guess is cos everyone is doing their last min shopping for the festive period! Reached home and my sis was sorting out the masks which we bought from spree, haha... i really have lots of masks!!!

Am now counting down to the days for Chinese New Year to come!! Yay!!

Well... had to shift to blogspot after having probs with wordpress and this post is my 1st ever post, duh! but.... its ok... haha

Well nothing much had happened to me lately, life is as per normal, oh well yeah got a call from him, someone whom I never expect to call me, though purpose of the call is to ask for him but at least I guess we did catch up but I guess things will remain as what we are now but whatever I know I’ll still look over him till his matter is over… Anyway back to my life, last friday was on the train to work, was taking my 40 winks on the train when halfway somehow I’ve this feeling to open up my eyes and I did and saw a ah ma standing in front of me, well natural reaction is of cos to give up the seat, so I did and I think ah ma is grateful for that also cos I think ah ma wanted to talk to me but then cos I had my earphones on, so ah ma was just smiling at me throughout the whole journey =) finally ah ma talked to me when I plug out the earphones and ah ma was so cute… anyway she really made my day!!

Today went to Bugis street cos decided to do some last minute shopping but then I guess it was a wrong move cos its soooooooooooo packed!! Difficulty in moving around, I guess maybe its cos of the rain also.. didn’t managed to get anything that i want (though i did get a top for myself)*disappointed* so decided to move on to suntec city, wanted to go back to get the stylo jacket which jac bought the other time but then the sales lady told me that no more stock, argh!!! Am so gutted by it and wondering why I didn’t buy the jacket with jac the other time!! >.<

Next stop is Marina Square, also crowded but then not that bad, and was walking around without much aim anyway, had dinner at pizza hut then passed by a wall full of grafatti arts haha and took another photo again =) left suntec for home around 7 plus then went to century square to get my belt and by the time I officially finish everything was about 9 plus!! Died tired!!! but I did enjoyed myself today which matters more!!
